Deborah Watson, Ph.D., LMHC, CLMHC, LPC is a licensed mental health counselor who received her doctorate in 2008 in Counseling Psychology from Walden University. She completed her internship in 2005 at South Florida Evaluation and Treatment Center and is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT). She is also a Clinically Certified Forensic Counselor, Parent Mental Health Assessor, Certified Sex Offender Treatment Specialist, Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Qualified Supervisor, MHC.
Dr. Watson has over 17 years experience of providing therapeutic services to adults, children, adolescents, and families. She has worked in residential programs for children and adults, a forensic psychiatric hospital, correctional facilities, a community mental health center, and a foster care agency. Her areas of specialty are the treatment of anxiety, depression, parenting, personality disorders, trauma treatment, emotional and behavioral problems. She is a member of PSI CHI: National Honor Society in Psychology, New Hampshire Psychological Association, National Association of Forensic Counselors, American Mental Health Counselors Association, Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, American Counseling Association,International Association of Trauma Professionalsand New Hampshire Mental Health Counselors Association.
